    If you are already a PostFinance customer

    • Fill in the online order form for e-finance
    • You will receive your access data by post in a few days, including an activation QR code to log in with the PostFinance App
    • Use this QR code to download the PostFinance App, and then enter your access data into the app
    • Once this is done, you can then log in on other devices, using the app to confirm any future login attempts

    If you don’t have a PostFinance account yet

    • Open your account the simplest way with the PostFinance App
    • As soon as your account has been opened, activate the login directly in the PostFinance App
    • You can then log in to online banking with different devices

    Fast login with highest security: after setting up your login for the first time in the PostFinance App, you can log in with your fingerprint or Face ID in just a few seconds.

    Login procedure for customers without a smartphone

    Customers without a smartphone or who are abroad can log in using their PostFinance Card and a card reader. You enter your access details every time you log in and generate a secure code using the card reader and card PIN for your PostFinance Card.

    Here’s how the login works

    We aim for the highest possible security. Access to the app is secured at multiple levels with various measures. The two-step login is an important part of this.

    Step 1: Personal e-finance number and password

    • We’ll send your access details with instructions by post once you have ordered e-finance 
    • We recommend logging in with the PostFinance App: you can store your e-finance number and password securely in the app, saving you from entering them every time

    Tips on usernames and passwords

    Replace your e-finance number with a username that’s easier to remember. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it yourself.

    Step 2: Confirm login

    • Each login procedure ensures that only you can confirm a login attempt. This works by combining the PostFinance App with biometrics – a fingerprint or face scan
    • Customers without a smartphone confirm the login with their PostFinance Card PIN and a card reader
