  • Requirements for successful integration of the POS module

For us to offer you our point-of-sale module, the following requirements must be met:

    • At least one compatible PAX card terminal from our terminal shop is required to operate the associated software
    • You must have at least one acceptance agreement for a payment method in place
    • A Checkout Flex account is also required to operate the pay terminal
    • To enable billing of the monthly fees for the SIM card for the pay terminal and the POS Payment Module transaction costs by Checkout Flex, you must add a PostFinance business account or a valid credit card
  • Order pay terminals for the POS Payment Module and set them up yourself

Order the PAX card terminal that is right for you in our shop. After receiving the device, you can simply scan the QR code on the enclosed flyer and configure your pay terminal in a few steps with the help of the set-up wizard.

Send requests to acceptance partners directly from the back office tool

You can conclude the contract with PostFinance for the Checkout Flex POS Payment Module online in just a few minutes. After successful verification, we will activate Checkout Flex within five working days. To enable you to accept payments, you must then conclude a separate contract with each of the acceptance partners for the individual payment methods. PostFinance will take care of the arrangements for contract requests. You can initiate the contract request to the acceptance partners you require directly in the back office tool.

Please note: It may currently take several weeks to conclude contracts with Worldline and Concardis. The time required to activate the payment method depends on the acceptance partner concerned. PostFinance has no influence on this process.
